As a passionate horse owner and rider, I am always challenged to make my own fitness as much of a priority as my horse's. But as a Certified Personal Trainer (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and Certified Group Fitness Instructor (Athletics and Fitness Association of America), I know my own fitness directly affects my riding performance and enjoyment in the saddle. Being out of shape can lead to instability, lack of confidence, inadequate strength, loss of stamina, and other undesirable situations while riding. And since we always have more control over our own bodies than our horse's, getting and staying fit to ride just makes sense. That's why I have created my riding-specific training programs to promote maximum results with a minimal time commitment. You don't need a gym or fancy equipment, and you can work out right at the barn. It's never too late to improve your fitness and I would love to start helping  you today!  

How will this improve my riding?

Inadequate cardiovascular fitness hinders performance. Boosting fitness, body awareness, core strength, and balance gives you freedom to focus on harmonious movement and connection with your horse under saddle.

How will this increase enjoyment?

Gasping for breath or losing your balance in the saddle is not much fun! Improving overall fitness, strength, and neuromuscular connections out of the saddle allows you to feel better in the saddle so you can enjoy the ride.

How will this improve how I feel?

Enhanced self-esteem is a common outcome of consistent exercise. And when we feel better about ourselves, we tend to be less self-conscious, which can increase our confidence and performance in the saddle.
